Greater Philadelphia Health Action Selects dashboardMD's
Intelligent Reporting to Completely Automate Analysis Reporting.

Miami, FL. June 1, 2010 – dashboardMD, a leading provider of Business Intelligence solutions for healthcare, today announced that the Greater Philadelphia Health Action (GPHA), a multi-facility nonprofit provider of primary and behavioral healthcare throughout the Delaware Valley, has selected dashboardMD’s web -based solution to fully automate their analysis reporting and support their Provider productivity initiative.

GPHA currently operates eleven comprehensive healthcare facilities with a staff of 348 employees, over 100 providers that serve nearly 80,000 patients. The organization has come to be known as a hallmark in the industry, committed to providing quality comprehensive healthcare, health education, behavioral healthcare and child development services. Indicative of this commitment and their high quality service is their JCAHO accreditation and management's results-driven approach to performance management. Executive leadership prides itself on ensuring GPHA remains competitive and cash-flow positive.

Marcus Freeman, CFO, was monitoring Provider productivity for the enterprise and had developed a manual process that included daily updates of Excel spreadsheets to facilitate reporting. Key Indicators such as visit counts, new patient %, point of service cash collections, and work RVU’s per physician and facility were manually compiled, calculated and entered into these spreadsheets for manual aggregation and distribution. The information was finally sent to all directors, administrators and managers. Trying to maintain this labor intensive reporting on a regular basis proved inefficient, error prone and far too time consuming for already stretched resources.

"dashboardMD developed a series of custom reports for GPHA that automated this entire process and provided management with a solid reporting framework delivering analyzed productivity information on a daily basis including automated “push” reports via email and online dashboards. Interactive dashboards and tabular reports are now available on-line with drill through to detail, as well as trends, projections and scorecards with visual performance indicators.
In addition to productivity, dashboardMD completely automated their revenue cycle analysis reporting and distribution. GPHA executives can now view analysis by practice, facility, payer/financial class, and provider, or view aggregate data across multiple practices and divisions. Report distribution is now turnkey; analysis reports are pushed automatically, via email, based on a user-defined schedule.

For Jose Valero, President and CEO of dashboardMD, this was a familiar request, "We are focused on automating analysis. Because dashboardMD automatically measures, monitors and analyzes data daily, it’s easy to track the progress and results of strategic initiatives such as physician productivity and compensation. Our solution also provides Business Performance Management tools, which enable executives to set benchmarks for each practice, facility, provider, payer or financial class. We look forward to a continued and prosperous relationship as GPHA’s analysis needs increase."

To better serve the company’s internal reporting requirements, dashboardMD provided daily aggregate reports that reflect their entire client base, with performance indicators for “at a glance” management. Combined with ad hoc analysis tools, managers have a fully automated enterprise reporting solution.

"The company is now focusing their efforts on implementing a productivity initiative with our turnkey tools," said Jose Valero. "We are pleased to be a part of their success and look forward to future projects."
